Book review: Anna and The french kiss

Anna is looking forward to her senior year in Atlanta, where she has a great job, a loyal best friend, and a crush on the verge of becoming more. Which is why she is less than thrilled about being shipped off to boarding school in Paris–until she meets Étienne St. Clair. Smart, charming, beautiful, Étienne has it all…including a serious girlfriend.

But in the City of Light, wishes have a way of coming true. Will a year of romantic near-misses end with their long-awaited French kiss?

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I was hoping to like this book more than I did. My least favorite thing about this book was the main character Anna. She was kind of whiny and immature in the beginning. I started to like her a bit more as the book went on though. My favorite part of the book was the fact that it was set in Paris because I love France and would like to visit there someday. My two favorite characters were Etienne and Meredith. This was a light fluffy contemporary romance read that would have been perfect for the summer or even the spring. I am interested in reading the next book in this series and other books this author publishes.
